Once again I am preparing to perform the piece “Sail Away” by Malcolm Dalglish written for hammered dulcimer and chorus.
Relearning Classical Music
During the past year I have made a concerted effort to play more music on a regular basis. Though I enjoy playing and learning traditional jigs and reels, my passion is in learning, and currently relearning, Baroque and Renaissance pieces that I’ve transcribed for the dulcimer.
Newport Folk Festival 2014
In the spring of 2014 I received an email out of the blue from someone unknown to me asking if I’d like to take part in the upcoming Newport Folk Festival.
